Coronavirus Preparations at Trinity Baptist Church

Updated February 1, 2021

For the time being, we will only hold in-person worship services on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RETURNING TO TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH
                                                        Effective 02/07/2021

In order to comply with the Governor’s directives, we will be practicing physical distancing and taking the following necessary precautions to keep everyone safe as we return to in-person worship services.

⇨ The doors of the church will be opened at 10:30 a.m., and our Morning Worship service will begin at 11:00 a.m.

⇨ You are welcome to enter the auditorium through the front lobby (front church doors), the portico entrance (drive-thru side doors), or the breezeway (glass foyer doors). All other buildings and entrances will be closed to traffic. Our friendly ushers and greeters will guide and assist you with seating and any special needs that you may have. We will let you know at the end of the service on how to safely exit the building. Prior to entering any church building, please be prepared for your temperature to be taken by a non-contact infrared thermometer.

⇨ The church nursery has now reopened and is now available during worship services.

⇨ You may not enter any church building if you are sick or have been sick with any type of illness (even if non-COVID) within the last 14 days. If you have a fever, rash, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, dizziness, nausea, or any symptom of illness, stay home for your safety and the health and safety of others. In addition, you may not enter if you have had close contact within the last 14 days with an individual infected or suspected of being infected with COVID-19, including individuals exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.

⇨ For those attending, physical contact (handshaking and hugging) should not be observed.

⇨ Please bring your own mask and gloves if you wish to wear them. We will not be supplying personal protective equipment. However, hand sanitation stations will be available at each entrance. Please sanitize your hands when entering and exiting any church building.

⇨ In the event that there is not enough room in the auditorium to accommodate everyone with physical distancing guidelines in place, the Family Life Center will be opened for an overflow crowd to participate in the worship service via video feed. Church ushers will redirect you to the Family Life Center should we reach capacity in the auditorium.

⇨ During this time, we won’t be able to pass out bulletins or collect tithes and offerings by passing around offering plates. If you would like to give, a collection box will be located in the lobby and on each side of the stage in the auditorium. If you prefer, you can also give online. We will display announcements on the Big Screen in the auditorium.

⇨ The auditorium, restrooms, and other high traffic areas will be properly cleaned and disinfected after each worship service. Please collect your belongings at the end of the service and do not leave behind any trash in your seat. In addition, please do not enter any areas of the church buildings that are closed.

While things will be a little different than what we are used to, we hope these measures will keep everyone safe and allow us to get back to normal much sooner than later! If you have any questions or concerns, please use the contact form.

If you are not yet comfortable with returning to in-person services at Trinity Baptist Church, you'll still be able to watch our worship services online. We will upload the recorded video of our services each Sunday afternoon, and you may find it in the Online Media Center section of our website or on our Vimeo Channel.

If you wish to contact the church office, please leave us a message by calling 912-839-2599 or use the contact form.
